Sitting here thinking of the word for today, that came from a an exercise I participated in today. My word was Remote Control. I began to think about the obvious uses for a remote control, to change the channel on the TV or just a device to control other electronics.
But then it came to me how people, places and things can be a remote control in your life. When other people are dictating what you do, they are the Remote Control in your life.
People pleasing behavior stems from control. You behave a certain way or do a certain thing because of the reaction from the person in control. No one should have control over you.
It’s time to stop being controlled by the remote. Stop allowing yourself to be controlled by another persons actions and reactions.
