Autism is a spectrum not just a cookie cutter condition. According to Abacustherapies, Autism affects 1 in 36 children in the US. Autism is near and dear to my heart because my own son is on the spectrum. Autism is classified as a spectrum due to the many levels that an individual can fall into. Autism is often accompanied by other conditions, such depression, anxiety, and ADHD. Autism awareness has increased over the years, leading to greater understanding and acceptance of individuals with autism.
